Adult Mental Health Residential Services

Licensed residential care for adults living with serious mental illness — enough structure to become stable, enough freedom to build a life you actually want to return to.

A place to get steady, and a plan to move on

Adults come to us from psychiatric hospitalisation, from crisis stabilisation units, from unstable housing, and sometimes directly from home when outpatient care alone is no longer holding. The program is designed for people who need daily clinical contact but not hospital-level care.

Residents live in a shared licensed home with private or semi-private bedrooms, participate in a structured weekday schedule, and work with a treatment team on the specific barriers keeping independent living out of reach — medication adherence, symptom management, money, transport, work, relationships.

This is voluntary care

Adults enter and remain in the program by choice. You can request discharge at any time. We will always try to talk it through with you first and make sure you leave with medication, a follow-up appointment and somewhere to go.

Clinical care and practical life-building, side by side

Medication management

Nurse-supported administration, symptom monitoring and close coordination with your prescriber — including help getting to appointments.

Therapy, individual & group

Weekly individual sessions plus daily groups on symptom management, coping skills, relationships and relapse prevention.

Independent living skills

Cooking, cleaning, laundry, budgeting, public transport, phone and appointment management — taught by doing, not by lecture.

Work & education readiness

Résumé work, interview practice, connection to vocational rehabilitation and supported employment partners, and GED referrals.

Peer recovery support

Certified peer supporters who have lived through psychiatric treatment and recovery themselves, available several days a week.

Housing transition

Applications, waiting lists, landlord meetings and move-in support — started in month one, not the week before discharge.

How someone joins the program

01

Enquiry

You, a family member, a hospital social worker or a provider contacts us. No formal referral is required to start the conversation.

02

Assessment

A licensed clinician completes a diagnostic assessment and level-of-care determination, in person or at your current facility.

03

Funding

We verify Medicaid, Medicare or commercial benefits and confirm in writing what you will be responsible for, if anything.

04

Move-in

You tour the home, meet staff, and set a move-in date. Bring your own
belongings — this is where you live for now.
